Support Independent and Local Artists and Crafters!Getting right to the point (since I know you’d rather be having fun shopping than reading one of my typically wordy blog posts!) I believe in thoughtfulness, quality, and delight when it comes to holiday shopping and gift choosing.
Every piece of jewelry I make for Water’s Edge Creative utilizes recycled materials (beach glass and vintage beads, among other things), items purchased at local and small, independently-owned businesses (many of my beads and components come from wonderful hometown craft shops), and materials from companies that have scrupulously fair business practices concerning their employees, customers, and suppliers (Fire Mountain Gems and Beads).
